Contract Administration Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to oversee the administration of contracts for construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement contract strategies in line with client requirements.
  • Manage procurement and tendering of contract works packages.
  • Assign packages to Contract Administrators to procure and award.
  • E nsure Contract Documents are fully executed, returned to correct parties, and copies retained for reference.
  • Ensure all contracts are in place prior to commencement of construction.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to ensure contracts are managed and administered in accordance with project procedures, schedule, and budgets.
  • Communicate contract obligations and provisions to the Construction Management team and Package Owners.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to facilitate audits.
  • Obtain and retain a register of Contractor insurance certificates.
  • Implement Site Work Instructions and Site Variation Orders Procedures.
  • Generate Payment Certificate procedure in line with clients and contract requirements.
  • Review payment certificates prior to issue for payment.
  • H old monthly commercial meetings with contractors.
  • Assist in final account agreement and ensure final certificate is issued.
  • Contribute to the development of project implementation and associated contractual strategies.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education.
  • Addional professional qualifications desirable.
  • At least 10 years' experience in Contract Administration.
  • Proven ability to contribute to project implementation and contractual strategies.
  • Multiple project experience within Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical, and Data-Centres sectors.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines.
