Postnatal Care Specialist Wanted
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Postnatal Care Specialist to join our team in providing essential care and support to new mothers and their babies during the postnatal period.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary postnatal visits to assess the newborn's and mother's health, providing prompt interventions where necessary
- Offer follow-up care for up to 6 weeks postnatally, ensuring seamless transitions and continuous support
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to guarantee comprehensive care, fostering strong relationships within the community
- Create a safe and supportive environment for new families, promoting healthy outcomes and empowering them to make informed decisions
Requirements:
- Registered midwife or equivalent qualifications and extensive experience in postnatal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clients and stakeholders
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic towards clients, with a patient-centered approach
