Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to work closely with the HR Business Partner to provide expert HR support in line with best practice.

This role is a key operational member of a small HR team and requires a proactive and pragmatic influencer who can contribute to areas such as Employee Relations, Performance Management, Reward Benefits Administration, and Talent Acquisition.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure compliance with risk control and regulatory requirements by actively promoting and ensuring compliance amongst business areas with respect to company policies, regulatory, professional, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee payroll administration in collaboration with the Payroll Manager, ensuring accurate and timely processing with appropriate documentation and approvals.
  • Maintain commercial awareness relevant to HR and the broader business context.
  • Manage all HR administration accurately, including the day-to-day management of the HR inbox and processing paperwork associated with family leave policies and employee benefit schemes.
  • Work with the HR Business Partner to support Employee Engagement, Health Wellbeing, and Diversity Inclusion initiatives.
  • Deliver professional HR services across multiple locations.
  • Provide expert advice to line management and employees on HR-related queries, application of HR policies practices, employment law advice, and disciplinary/grievance issues.
  • Manage the probation process, assist managers with performance reviews and related meetings, build effective working relationships with the business, and proactively review and propose updates to HR policies and procedures.
