Job Description:

The Admissions International Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the College's admissions processes. This position is responsible for providing excellent service to students, staff, and the general public while maintaining the integrity of the student record database.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the process for issuing international fee receipts for payments made through Pay to Study and College bank account
  • E nsure payment and scholarship information is applied to student records correctly
  • Prepare reports on international student numbers for external bodies as required
  • Assist in reviewing international college applications
  • Maintain the application process for domestic and international students
  • Manage student card production, creating a plan for distribution for each intake
  • Apply admissions requirements in accordance with QQI and College regulations
  • Attend meetings and events related to Student Services/Admissions as required
  • Maintain efficient systems for student enquiries, admissions, and student cards
  • Raise purchase orders required for the admission team
  • Prepare reports to ensure accuracy in payments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least two years' experience within an administrative role
  • Experience within an Irish third-level education environment is preferable
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Pro-active time management
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Flexible approach to work and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

  • Permanent Salary: €31,059 - €43,485 (Administrator Salary Band)
  • Annual Leave: 24 Days per annum pro rata
  • Hours: Full-time
