The Business Development Rep Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to drive our market share growth by building a strong pipeline for our inside sales executives. You'll leverage PayPal's reputation as a technology leader, developing a solid foundation in technology, sales skills, and payments knowledge. This will enable you to grow into a quota-carrying sales executive.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue new business opportunities by contacting prospective merchants through various channels, including phone, email, in-person events, and social platforms.
- Conduct initial needs assessments of prospects, determining how PayPal's platform can address their existing pain points.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all activities in Salesforce.com.
- Stay informed about current market trends, opportunities, and competition.
- Expand contact lists within targeted accounts using tools like Zoominfo, Sales Navigator, and other methods.
