Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Executive Apprentice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to embark on a 12-month apprenticeship in-house training program, which will lead to qualifying as a Sales Executive.

During this comprehensive training program, you will receive extensive training on the sales process, database management, marketing, customer service, and everything you need to succeed in motor sales. You will be mentored, observe senior sales executives, participate in classroom training, brand and product training, and have the opportunity to learn and develop your sales skills.

The emphasis is on learning and developing your skills, with a strong focus on building a rapport and lasting relationships with customers. You will also learn how to conduct accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange and agree on values with your Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic with an appetite to learn and develop throughout the program.
  • Learn and develop your sales skills, including appraisal, test drive, and customer follow-up.
  • Maintain and accurately record all customer contact details using our in-house systems.
  • Conduct accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange and agree on values with your Sales Manager.
  • Participate in regular training to maintain product knowledge and increase skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a retail capacity or a customer service/hospitality environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing customers with an exceptional level of service.
  • Can demonstrate a strong work ethic with excellent organisation & negotiation skills.
  • Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional and corporate image to all our customers (both face to face and over the phone).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing excellent customer delight by always going the extra mile.
  • A disciplined approach to following our processes from start to finish.
  • A full clean Driving Licence.
