We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Therapist to join our organization in delivering high-quality speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, design, and deliver customized speech therapy programs for adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and medical professionals.
- Contribute to the development of the Adult Services SLT strategy and work plan, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across departments.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior speech therapists and assistant speech therapists, fostering their growth and professional development.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies or equivalent qualification.
- CORU registration.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience as a speech therapist.
- Prior experience working with adults who have a disability and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in dysphagia.
- Certification in LMH, PECS, or Intensive Interaction.
