Job Overview

The Customer Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions-oriented support.

This position involves interacting with various stakeholders, including internal teams such as technical services, customer service, sales, and operations, as well as external customers like distributors, facility managers, locksmiths, IT leaders, and others as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a solid understanding of mechanical, electronic, and software products within assigned portfolios, specifically mobile device applications, networking components, user credentials, and electronic devices
  • Provide timely and effective customer support through phone calls, email, and instant messaging, ensuring positive interactions and resolving issues efficiently
  • Identify customer needs and communicate complex solutions in a clear and concise manner, enabling successful implementation
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in related industries or customer-facing roles; basic knowledge of access control concepts, proxy, smart, and mobile credentials; and troubleshooting preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic products, including the use of volt meters and related measuring devices
