Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a senior civil engineer to join our multidisciplinary office in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on varied projects including Education, Residential, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial and Energy Sectors for public and private clients.

Duties Will Include
  • Leading civil engineering teams as part of multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Design input and oversight of the delivery of all Civil aspects of projects with a focus on drainage and watermain design and a good knowledge of basic road design principles.
  • Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage) with an ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly.
  • Communication of design intent via PowerPoint presentations.
  • Preparation of fee proposals and site-specific quality response submissions for design contracts with public sector clients.
  • Communication with internal and external parties via email.
  • Oversight of preparation of design drawings for planning, tender and construction purposes.
  • Preparation of design calculations for internal and external review.
  • Ancillary certification for the civil engineering discipline on building projects.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and manage personal and team workload effectively.
  • Experience in delivery of drainage design in Causeway or Micro-drainage.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience acting as Lead Project Civil engineer on multi-disciplinary projects.
