Job Title: Hardware Support Specialist

The role involves troubleshooting hardware and communication issues, system updates, knowledge transfer, and coordination with site teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot field issues with hardware and communications systems.
  • Complete system updates to correct issues identified under site change processes.
  • Provide Knowledge Transfer to site teams on hardware setup and configuration.
  • Liaise with site electrical contractors during investigations to identify root causes of issues and solutions.
  • Coordinate tasks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate status with site teams and management.

Requirements:
  • 4 years + Delta V experience, with previous site within the life sciences industries.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with advanced qualifications.
  • Experience designing and programming control systems with emphasis on Delta V DCS.
  • S88 batch process control within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Lead teams of Engineers and manage project resources, scheduling tasks, client interactions, and vendor coordination.
  • Batch Process upgrading on Delta V platforms for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Interact with customers for reviewing design specifications and test specifications.
  • Working knowledge of other control system platforms is desirable.
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with regulated industry standards, including exposure to cGMP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced projects.
