Job Opportunity

The role of IT Field Service Engineer is a key position within our organization. It requires an individual who can effectively establish and build strong working relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware faults, referring to third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Assign warranties on hardware to third parties where required.
  • Manage system administration using Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot Windows account/mailbox issues.
  • Diagnose and solve software faults, including Citrix.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
  • System Administration - amend privileges/security permissions on server shares, setup new shared folders on existing shares.
  • Manage PST requests and data requests for staff moves.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for software/hardware installation.
  • Deal with 'how to' and information requests, including data security and ICT policies.
  • Coordinate office activities to secure efficiency and compliance to procedures and processes.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's experience in an IT hardware environment, with a strong background in Windows & 10/11 installations. They must possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, as well as exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with users.

A strong working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite and report writing is also desirable. The ability to interact with key stakeholders in a professional manner and a self-starter attitude with a willingness to take responsibility are essential qualities.

Third-level education qualification is highly preferred by us.
