">We are seeking a seasoned Hardware Support Specialist to join our team of experts in the Life Sciences industry.
">The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with hardware and communications systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with equipment such as CHARMS, cabling, and I/O configuration.
">This role involves working closely with site teams to complete system updates and provide knowledge transfer on hardware setup and configuration.
">Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with site electrical contractors to identify root causes of issues and solutions.
">A key aspect of this position is effective communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
">We require a minimum of 4 years of experience in DeltaV systems, with previous experience in the life sciences industries.
">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
">Experience designing and programming control systems, particularly with emphasis on DeltaV DCS, is highly desirable.
">Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with advanced degree is required.
">Prior experience working with regulated industry standards, including exposure to cGMP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11, is an asset.
">To succeed in this role, you must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
">Responsibilities
">- Troubleshoot field issues with hardware and communications set
- SUPPORT CM SATs throughout project commissioning and qualification phase
- Complete system updates to correct issues identified under site change process
- Provide Knowledge Transfer to site team on hardware setup and configuration
- Liaise with site electrical contractor during investigations to identify root cause of issues and solutions
- Co-ordination of tasks to ensure timely delivery
- Communication of status with site team & management
Requirements
">- 4 years + DeltaV experience
- Previous site within the life sciences industries
- BSc/BEng/BA Degree or equivalent experience with advanced degree
- Experience designing and programming control systems with emphasis on DeltaV DCS
- S88 batch process control within the (Bio)Pharma sector
- Working knowledge of other control system platforms desirable
- Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA an advantage
- Knowledge and familiarity with regulated industry standards
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
