We are seeking a skilled baker to join our team in the production of fresh, exceptional baked goods daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the production of pastries and desserts ensuring all meet menu requirements.
  • Bake and present various breads, scones, muffins, and other bakery items from scratch each day.
  • Stay informed about the day's business, menu, and any specials participating actively in menu planning.
  • Prepare all dishes efficiently ensuring every item meets approved standards of presentation.
  • Minimize waste observe portion control and operate in a cost-effective responsible manner.
  • Maintain outstanding food hygiene and safety standards throughout the kitchen and food & beverage outlets.
  • Keep kitchen equipment in good working order and promptly report maintenance issues to your supervisor.
  • Support the smooth running of daily kitchen operations upholding high culinary standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar baking or pastry position ideally in a high-volume or artisanal kitchen.
  • Strong background and keen interest in pastry and baking a formal qualification desirable.
  • Committed to excellence standards-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Courteous customer-focused and passionate about delivering a consistently high standard of service.
  • Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
