Scrum Master Job Overview

Job Title: Scrum Master

A Scrum master will facilitate two cross-functional development teams in building scalable microservices and cloud solutions. The focus is on optimizing Agile processes, ensuring delivery predictability, and maintaining alignment with business goals.

The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and platform teams to remove blockers quickly, ensure seamless communication, and maintain well-prioritized backlogs in partnership with Product Owners.

  • Cultivate Agile principles and practical delivery techniques within the teams.
  • Facilitate core ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support the development of actionable and prioritized backlogs in conjunction with Product Owners.
  • Identify and resolve risks and delivery obstacles promptly.
  • Use Agile metrics to enhance team performance and delivery efficiency.
  • Advocate for engineering excellence, continuous integration, and DevOps best practices.
  • Develop a safe and motivated team environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile delivery professional.
  • Proven ability to lead software teams using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models.
  • Strong knowledge of backend systems development (preferably Java or similar), Agile tooling, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and modern software delivery pipelines.
  • Effective communicator with strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Agile delivery certification (CSM, PSM I, SAFe).
