Job Overview:

Critical Environment Project Technician

We are seeking an experienced Critical Environment Project Technician to join our team. This is a critical role that requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of critical infrastructure, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, acting as a single point of contact between Data Center Live Operations and Campus Construction projects, maintaining critical infrastructure, and collaborating with suppliers, management, and other teams to address operational, risk, and safety situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: The candidate will manage projects related to critical environment operations, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and generators.
  • Critical Infrastructure Maintenance: The candidate will inspect and supervise critical facility equipment, ensuring that it operates within specified parameters.
  • Incident Response: The candidate will respond to onsite incidents and coordinate with critical facilities professionals to resolve issues.
  • Documentation and Tracking: The candidate will utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment assets and complete work order requests.
  • Procedure Development: The candidate will develop and enhance emergency operating procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
  • Project Management experience with Agile, Lean, or ITIL methodologies.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and Mission Critical services work/applied learning experience.
  • Experience in specialized areas (e.g., mechanical field, electrical field, controls field) or related fields.
  • Ability to meet security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Operating and Maintaining Gas Power Plants.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and Mission Critical services experience.
  • Associate's Degree or technical trade certification and mission-critical services experience.
