About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team. This is a critical role that will involve designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.

They will also have hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation, as well as proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.

In addition, the successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of Linux systems administration, networking, and security best practices, as well as familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Architecting and designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS
  • Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Automating deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and services using CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to define and implement strategies for monitoring, logging, and alerting

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing cloud architectures for cost, performance, and security, advising clients on best practices for infrastructure, data, and application deployment, mentoring and guiding teams on AWS architecture patterns, DevOps methodologies, and operational best practices, evaluating and integrating third-party tools and services into AWS environments.

This is a senior-level role requiring 5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture role, focusing on AWS.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong proficiency in AWS services
  • Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools
  • Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux systems administration, networking, and security best practices
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools

You will also need excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
