Job Opportunity: Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Product Engineer. As a key member of our multidisciplinary product team, you will be responsible for developing back-end and front-end systems that solve real customer problems through a smart and efficient application of technical knowledge and tools.

About the Role:
  • You will develop technical plans and contribute to our technical architecture as we scale our products to serve tens of millions of people every day.
  • Your primary focus will be on writing Ruby code, which knits together a lot of AWS, infrastructure, platform and SaaS technologies that form the core of our backend infrastructure.
  • You will be expected to ship a change to production on your first day and a feature in your first week.
  • Growing your team's capacity by mentoring other engineers and interviewing candidates is also part of this role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
  • Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers, and a proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
  • Strong understanding of Distributed systems.
