
AML Compliance Specialist

As an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of compliance in the management of client and investor records. You will work closely with the client-facing teams to ensure that all relevant information is collected and documented in a timely manner.
You will also be required to identify any connections to politically exposed persons and review alerts generated by the automatic screening tool on a weekly basis. Additionally, you will provide advice and support to the client-facing teams on AML/CFT matters, which may involve dealing directly with external parties.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that know-your-client requirements are continually met for the identification of clients and fund investors.
- Set up client and investor profiles in the electronic database and ensure KYC information and documents are uploaded accordingly.
- Assist client-facing teams in dealing with external parties and collect proper information and documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform regular follow-up with client-facing teams in relation to submitted requests.
- Respond to requests from client-facing teams to perform drawdowns and distributions.
- Regularly screen the client and investor database and treat automatically generated alerts on time.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 2-3 years of experience in an AML role within the financial services sector.
- General understanding of AML requirements within Luxembourg.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg fund structures.
- Analytical approach with good research skills.
- Team-player attitude and good organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Fluent in English; French or German could also be an advantage.
