Job Overview

The successful candidate will join a team in the Property, Planning & Environment and Employment Law sector at a major energy supplier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completion of conveyancing transactions for the company.
  • General commercial conveyancing work looking after technical property infrastructure.
  • Managing own caseload working closely with line manager.
  • Working with/supporting other members of the team.
  • Meeting with and advising business clients.
  • General property law research and advisory work.
  • Advising on and ensuring adherence to Corporate Governance frameworks.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification commercial conveyancing experience in a legal practice and admitted and enrolled as a solicitor in Ireland.
  • Expertise in commercial conveyancing including sales, purchases, granting and taking easements, leases and licences.
  • Strong planning, organisation and case management skills with a track record of managing a large caseload effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results while working to tight timelines and with others through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to communicate effectively with others and carry out negotiations with third party solicitors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Office package.
  • Sound commercial judgment and 'can-do' attitude.

Reporting To

This role will report to a senior solicitor of the Legal team.
