Job Role Overview
An Engineering Administrative Assistant is sought to provide administrative support to the Engineering department, ensuring effective communication and documentation management.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks within the Engineering department, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
Assist in reviewing, updating, and distributing engineering procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee the issuance, tracking, and retention of engineering documents, guaranteeing accurate and secure storage.
Support procurement processes and manage requisitions and purchase orders, streamlining operations and minimizing delays.
Maintain and organize the QA Document Room, facilitating easy access to essential information.
Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate training schedules, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with procurement processes and PO administration, demonstrating expertise in inventory management and budget control.
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
A relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related discipline, indicating a strong foundation in technical principles and business practices.
