System Turnover Specialist

About the Role:

  • Familiarize with project scope, content, and boundaries to ensure seamless system handovers.
  • Understand turnover process requirements, including walk downs, punch list management, test pack tracking, and dossier preparation.
  • Prepare comprehensive turn-over dossiers for allocated systems, ensuring master drawings and documents are available.
  • Evaluate all scope allocations to contractors and vendors, eliminating any gaps or discrepancies.
  • Liaise closely with the Turnover Manager and Construction Planner to review system status and communicate progress effectively.
  • Conduct early inspections to verify construction work readiness and quality of systems.
  • Liaise with contractors regarding documentation and readiness for daily turnover meetings.
  • Report on progress and issues during daily turnover meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
  • Collaborate with commissioning teams and user groups to notify them of turnover readiness and punchlists.
  • Perform thorough walkdown inspections with contractors, commissioning team, and end-users to confirm system completion.
  • Record and expedite closure of punchlists with contractors.
  • Compile and verify all necessary documentation, test packs, drawings, and certifications required for turn-over dossiers and final handover files.
  • Publish turn-over dossiers and obtain sign-off from the commissioning team.
  • Communicate any issues promptly to the Turnover Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-educated professionals or strong trades background.
  • Previous experience in construction supervision and/or turnover roles is essential.
  • Lifetime science or mission-critical projects experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous PM Group experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate within a team environment.
