Customer Support Specialist Job Description

We are currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers.

This individual will be responsible for developing an in-depth knowledge of our platform and providing high-quality product support to customers via email and live chat. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively resolve customer issues through troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in customer support or technical support, gained within a SaaS organization, with a strong understanding of APIs and integrations. Experience working with email deliverability, email marketing platforms, and e-commerce platforms is also advantageous.
  • A passion for creative problem-solving and a self-motivated attitude are essential for this role, as is the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our platform.
  • Provide high-quality product support to customers via email and live chat.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve their issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer complaints.
  • Support customers with non-technical related questions.
  • Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years customer support/ technical support experience via live chat and email/ticketing channels gained within a SaaS organisation.
  • Experience working with/handling issues related to email deliverability/email marketing platforms/e-commerce platforms advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work shifts.
  • Strong understanding of/experience in APIs and integrations.
  • Experience in: DNS, IPs and other networking concepts a bonus.
  • A thoughtful communicator who is excellent at communicating through a variety of channels that require both written and verbal skills.
  • Passionate about creative problem solving for customers and end users.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and thrive in a collaborative environment, and capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities.
