Job Title: IT Support Specialist for Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing Systems

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to provide technical support for layer 1 Voice/VC activities, including add, moves, and changes, at the Cork Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support existing video conferencing, voice systems, and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve the quality of internal video communications technology
  • Maintenance of campus desktop phone/VC, wiring closet cabling/patching, and equipment inspection
  • Resolve trouble tickets and service requests efficiently

Requirements:

Candidates should possess relevant technical skills, experience in engineering and developing large-scale integrated VC systems, solid experience with audio and video design, strong communication skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an Irish/British/EU passport or equivalent work visa
  • Meet all necessary requirements for permanent residency in Ireland
