Overview
IT Support – AV/Video conferencing experience
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Cork (fully onsite at customer site)
Outline of Role
The primary objective of this initiative is to support layer 1 Voice / VC activities for add, moves and changes for the Cork Campus.
Responsibilities
Involvement in the direction of overall internal video communications technology and in improving the quality of the existing and future systems used globally.
Responsible for supporting existing Video conferencing, voice systems and infrastructure.
Collaboration and recommending both tactical and strategic video, networking and collaboration capabilities.
Maintenance of Campus Desktop phone / VC.
Wiring Closet cabling/Patching.
Wiring Closet inspection and maintenance.
Comms Room inspection and maintenance.
Solving trouble tickets and service requests.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
Experience engineering and developing large scale integrated VC systems.
Solid experience with audio and video design.
Strong communication skills in a Video conference /Voice environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Requirements
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
