Job Opportunity:

The primary objective of this role is to support the implementation and maintenance of voice and video conferencing systems on a campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the strategic planning and direction of internal video communications technology.
  • Supporting existing video conferencing, voice systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating and recommending tactical and strategic video, networking and collaboration capabilities.
  • Maintaining campus desktop phones and video conferencing equipment.
  • Performing wiring closet cabling and patching tasks.
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of wiring closets and comms rooms.
  • Solving trouble tickets and service requests related to voice and video conferencing systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with engineering and developing large-scale integrated video conferencing systems.
  • Solid experience with audio and video design principles.
  • Strong communication skills in a video conference and voice environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
