In partnership with our client, we are now recruiting Healthcare Assistants to provide care to residents living with dementia in a community setting.
Our goal is to support individuals to live independently and enhance their quality of life. If you have a passion for helping others and desire a flexible career that fits your life, this could be the right opportunity for you.
The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of personal care, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping duties. They will also provide companionship and recreational activities to support the physical and emotional well-being of our clients.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals as required
- Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers
- Participate in light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Engage in recreational activities to promote social interaction and stimulation
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- QQI Level 5 in Care Skills & Care of the Elderly
- Experience in Dementia Care is desirable
- Driving license
- Good level of English
