Business Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our change management function, you will work with clients and internal teams to deliver projects from initiation to implementation and benefits realization.

About the Role

This is a 9-month contract requiring 3 days onsite in Limerick. The successful applicant must have transfer agency experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery
    • Define, coordinate, and deliver development and process enhancements according to agreed specifications and project lifecycle standards.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to analyse, scope, and document improvements.
    • Prepare and maintain project plans, manage deliverables, and track progress against milestones, ensuring adherence to governance lifecycles.
    • Produce well-documented business requirements and obtain timely approvals.
    • Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate with solutions where necessary.
    • Proactively implement productivity and process improvements to drive efficiencies, client satisfaction, and cost savings.
    • Ensure testing (UAT) is completed on time with appropriate supporting evidence.
    • Prepare feasibility and cost-effectiveness proposals when required.
Requirements:
  • Transfer Agency Experience
    • Proven experience in business analysis in a transfer agency.
    • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
    • Track record of building effective working relationships internally and with clients.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, able to work to multiple competing deadlines.
    • Strong MS Project skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
