Service Coordinator Motor Sector

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our team in the motor sector.
The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and exceptional customer experience.
This is a permanent role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organization & multitasking abilities, and great attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Administrator, or Co-ordinator, preferably in the automotive industry, and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage service appointments, optimizing workshop capacity and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing clear and professional communication.
- Collaborate with technicians to relay customer concerns and confirm accurate diagnosis.
- Provide cost estimates for work required, securing approval before proceeding.
- Keep customers informed with status updates, estimated completion times, and follow-up calls.
- Prepare and issue repair orders, invoices, and service records with accuracy.
- Process payments and resolve any billing queries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service history and customer interactions.
