Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Nua Healthcare Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our service users.

Job Objectives:
  • Carry out assessments and treatment sessions at clinics using technical equipment to analyse voice patterns and examine speech production factors.
  • Collaborate with service users, family members, carers, and other staff to set treatment goals and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Deliver training to staff teams on supporting individuals with speech and language difficulties.
  • Liaise with other professionals, such as behaviour specialists, psychologists, doctors, and ENT specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Keep detailed clinical notes and draft reports on client symptoms, treatments, and progress.
Skills Requirements:
  • Qualification: Level 8 Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration with CORU.
  • Qualification in FEDS assessment, treatment, and care planning.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Dedicated, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
