Project Health and Safety Lead

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on health and safety.

EHS International is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) to join our client's team for a major construction project in Munster. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring health and safety compliance at the design stage of a significant development.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee health and safety aspects of the design process.
- Ensure compliance with Irish legislation under the Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 .

Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a PSDP or similar role within the construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of Irish construction safety regulations .
- Experience in design risk assessment and safety compliance .
- Strong communication and leadership skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., IOSH, CIF, Engineers Ireland ) is an advantage.
