  • Purchasing and Inventory: Inspect delivered goods for quantity and quality against requisitions and delivery notes.
  • Service Standards: Ensure prompt and courteous service from the kitchen.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to staff and supervise their work effectively.
  • Deputy Head Chef Role: Act as deputy head chef to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Menu Planning and Training: Train and supervise staff in menu planning, ordering, rota compilation, and menu costing.
  • Menu Development: Contribute to the development and costing of menus while maintaining set food percentage targets.
