About the RoleThe Healthcare Assistant will be responsible for providing holistic, person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. They will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assess residents' needs and develop personalized care plans
- Deliver high-quality care that is responsive to residents' changing needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Currently hold or enrolled in QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (desirable)
- No Qualification? We will support you to achieve your QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person
- 1st and 2nd year student nurses are eligible to apply
- At least 1 year experience in care of the older person or comparable role (desirable)
- Must be of professional, caring and empathetic nature
- Good standard of verbal and written English
- Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential
