Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team, responsible for managing various financial tasks including weekly payroll, project costs, and stock reconciliation.

 

  • Manage the preparation of weekly payroll files for submission to third-party providers.
  • Accurately calculate monthly project costs in collaboration with Quantity Surveying and Production Admin teams.
  • Participate in stock takes and complete stock reconciliation exercises.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and billing documents in cooperation with the Commercial team.
  • Perform debt collection activities and follow up on overdue customer payments.
  • Liaise with credit insurers to set up new customers with credit insurance.
  • Act as a key contact for auditors and other third parties during quarterly Invoice Discounting audits.
  • Support ad hoc finance-related tasks as required.

 

Key Qualifications

 

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum of three years industry experience, ideally in manufacturing, or experience in an accounting practice.
  • Experience with Finance ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • An inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn.
