Warehouse Operations Manager

Are you a natural leader with experience in supervising warehouse operations? Do you have a talent for implementing process improvements and driving team performance?

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse team. This includes coordinating tasks such as unloading, receiving, putaway, transporting, order picking, cycle counting, and inventory control. You will also hire, train, and coach a team of material handlers and leads to ensure that they meet daily operational targets while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, using ERP systems for inventory and warehouse management, and developing SOPs and work instructions for warehouse processes. They will also have strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities
  • Hire, train, and coach a team of material handlers and leads
  • Establish and report on daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
  • Develop and implement robust training programs to build a high-performing team
  • Drive inventory accuracy by ensuring real-time ERP/WMS transactions
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs

Requirements:
  • Experience supervising a team in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience developing SOPs and work instructions for warehouse processes
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
