Director of Nursing Opportunity

The Director of Nursing plays a pivotal role in leading the nursing team and ensuring high-standard person-centred care and career advancement opportunities.

About the Role:

  • Lead an existing management team with established executive leadership support.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintain regulatory compliance with HIQA standards and the Health Act 2007.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Foster excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills among staff.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Senior Nursing Management in Care of the elderly within the last 6 years.
  • Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
  • Current registration with NMBI.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualification in Gerontology.
