Production Chef Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Chef to join our team at a state-of-the-art production facility in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Food Production unit, preparing high-quality produce, and ensuring all items are ready for delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs looking for a structured environment that produces high-quality products.

This role requires the ability to lead a small team and manage their performance, as well as maintain accurate records and comply with company policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a chef and be able to work safely in accordance with health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities:

Cooking and Preparation

• Cooking and preparation of high-quality food

• Labeling and sealing freshly handmade products

• Assisting with the loading of chilled products onto our chilled vehicles

Hygiene in Food Production

• Implementing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with E.H.O, Q.A, and H.A.C.C.P requirements

• Maintaining a written cleaning schedule throughout the unit

• Being a role model for the principles and practices of Food Safety

Control of finances and stock

• Budget-based cost management

• Maintaining an efficient budget control

• Ensuring stock is kept at an acceptable level

Safety and Health

• Ensuring all staff members are aware of their responsibilities when it comes to following the Health & Safety systems in the kitchen

• Working safely in accordance with health and safety legislation

Development and Training

• Participating in the performance management process for kitchen personnel

• Maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards

• Leading by example and promoting a positive attitude towards work
