Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Tender Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating tenders to supply products to the European Market in a timely and accurate manner.

This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that tenders meet specific customer requirements and deadlines.

The Tender Representative will also be responsible for updating product pricing on relevant systems.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotations received from customers and sales teams, and send written price confirmations as required.
  • Search for potential tender notices relevant to our business.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure tenders are submitted within customer-specific deadlines and requirements.
  • Oversee the compilation of tenders and bids to ensure they are handled professionally, quickly, and compliantly.
  • Support colleagues on more complex tenders as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments globally to gather information relevant for tenders.
  • Maintain accurate tender files for historical and reference purposes.
  • Update pricing on relevant systems to allow for accurate order entry.
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner to ensure required competence and audit compliance.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues as appropriate.
  • Take on additional tasks and involvement in new departmental projects and initiatives as trained or required.
Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge of pricing, tenders, or public procurement is advantageous.
  • A legal or business qualification is advantageous.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.
  • Excellent written skills in both languages are necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills are essential.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong research and analytical skills are required.
  • Attention to detail with clerical speed and accuracy is necessary.
  • The ability to multitask is essential.
  • A strong customer focus, both internal and external, is required.
  • A positive attitude and proven problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • An excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Computer literacy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, is required.
  • Experience with pricing and tender software is advantageous.
  • A willingness and availability to travel on company business is required.
  • A flexible start time to accommodate European time zones is necessary.
