Operations Excellence Leader

The role of the Operations Excellence Leader is to drive performance improvements and sustainment across the organization. This involves leading lean and Six Sigma methodologies, deploying solutions to key business processes, and coaching teams on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support leaders across the business to accelerate strategic improvement by deploying lean solutions aligned with site strategy and partnering with flow team leaders to challenge status quo and drive performance improvements.
  • Lead value realization initiatives to embed value and robust cost management across the site, including co-leading the value realization program and partnering with finance to coach peers on financial metrics.
  • Participate in flow teams on their CI journey to agree improvement priorities and proactively work with GEO and sister sites to maintain alignment and share best practices.

  • Analytical problem-solving - identifies problems, defines problem statements, and applies structured methodologies to identify data-driven root causes.
Education and Experience:
  • Science, engineering, or business background preferred but not essential.
  • Formal lean, reengineering, and/or Six Sigma training preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industry with demonstrated track record in driving performance through self and others.
  • Sound knowledge of cGMPs and equivalent industry regulations.
  • Experience in systems thinking, process mapping, lean six sigma, and business process reengineering would be preferable.
