Proposal Development Specialist

We seek a highly motivated individual to lead and coordinate the preparation of compelling proposals for major infrastructure projects in Ireland.

Job Overview
  • Lead the end-to-end proposal process, from opportunity identification through to submission.
  • Develop, edit, and tailor proposal content to align with client requirements and win themes.
  • Coordinate input from technical, commercial, and operational teams to develop cohesive proposals.
  • Manage proposal timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, case studies, and CVs.
  • Conduct reviews and quality assurance of proposal submissions.
  • Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and presentations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform proposal strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in proposal writing and/or bid management, ideally in infrastructure, engineering, or consultancy sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proposal management tools (e.g., InDesign, SharePoint, CRM systems).
  • Desirable degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Business, Engineering).
