Our organisation is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide essential technical assistance across our operations. They will be responsible for maintaining our IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with day-to-day IT tasks.

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, telecommunications, and network issues.
  • Set up and configure computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install and update software and security patches.
  • Evaluate the protection of company systems, including firewalls and cybersecurity measures.
  • Maintain accurate IT inventory documentation.
  • Assist with user account setup and management (email, access rights, etc.).
  • Monitor system performance and report issues promptly.
  • Support the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager and team members on various projects.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, O365 Admin Centre, Microsoft Entra, SQL, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and antivirus software is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is required for occasional on-site visits.

Working Hours:

38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Salary: Dependent on experience.
