Environmental Professional

Job Overview: As an Environmental Professional, you will play a key role in addressing environmental challenges and implementing sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities include conducting site assessments, technical audits, and evaluations of environmental impact. Recommendations will be made for clean-up, waste management, and compliance with regulations.

You will design and implement solutions to reduce negative environmental impacts, interpret data, stay updated on legislative changes, identify contaminant sources, and manage permits and procedures.

The successful candidate will be involved in planning, designing, and managing major infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site assessments and technical audits
  • Evaluate environmental impact and make recommendations for clean-up and waste management
  • Design and implement solutions to reduce environmental impact
  • Interpret data and stay updated on legislative changes
  • Identify contaminant sources and manage permits and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years' experience in a consultancy environment
  • Proficiency in engineering software, environmental science, and regulations
  • Ability to identify and address environmental challenges
  • Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders
