Job Overview

This role involves working as a Therapy Support Professional in a residential children's home, providing support to qualified therapists and promoting mental health, independence, and engagement in daily activities.

  • Support qualified Occupational Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions.
  • Contribute to assessments and understanding of each student's occupational performance, identity, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Promote mental health, independence, and engagement through structured interventions.
Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in assessing functional skills and sensory needs.
  • Maintain accurate case records and contribute to clinical discussions.
  • Help implement and review personalised intervention programmes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for supporting children with complex needs.
  • Interest or background in mental health, occupational therapy, or special education desirable.
