Ardonagh Europe is a dynamic insurance business that requires a dedicated professional to develop and implement its internal and external communications strategy. As an Employee Engagement Leader, you will drive employee engagement, enhance corporate messaging, and strengthen the company's brand.

About the Role:

This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, HR, marketing, and other stakeholders to develop a comprehensive internal communications strategy. Key responsibilities include creating engaging internal content, coordinating internal events, and supporting cultural initiatives. You will also work closely with the Ardonagh Group's Communications team to align messaging and branding across markets and business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal Communications:
  1. Developing a robust internal communications strategy to support business objectives and enhance employee engagement across Ardonagh Europe.
  2. Advising senior leaders on messaging and communication best practices to ensure alignment across all levels of the business.
  3. Creating engaging internal content, including leadership updates, newsletters, corporate announcements, and employee storytelling initiatives.
  4. Coordinating and executing key internal events, such as town halls, leadership briefings, and employee engagement activities.
External Communications:
  1. Acting as a brand guardian, ensuring all internal and external communications align with Ardonagh Europe's strategic narrative and visual identity.
  2. Developing and maintaining corporate messaging materials, including key presentation decks, fact sheets, and business overviews for internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Working with Ardonagh Group's Communications team to align messaging and branding across all markets and business areas.
Corporate Social Responsibility, ESG & Events:
  1. Supporting CSR and ESG initiatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement across Ardonagh Europe.
  2. Working with the Ardonagh Community Trust Manager to promote charitable activities and encourage employee participation.
  3. Planning and executing corporate events, including leadership conferences, team engagement activities, and external networking opportunities.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or marketing within a multi-site, fast-paced organisation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging messages for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to confidently advise senior leadership and collaborate across different teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using internal communications platforms and digital engagement tools, with a good understanding of best practices in employee engagement.
  • Strategic thinker, able to develop high-impact communication plans while also being hands-on in execution.
  • Financial services or insurance industry experience is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in video editing or visual content creation would be beneficial.
  • German language skills are a plus but not essential.
