The Job

We're seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing engaging internal communications plans that drive employee engagement, foster a sense of community, and reinforce our company's vision, values, and brand.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our leadership team, gain valuable insights into our operations, and contribute to shaping our company culture. You'll be instrumental in designing and delivering internal communications that resonate with our employees, sparking enthusiasm and motivation to achieve our goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Leadership to develop and implement internal communications plans that align with our company's vision, OKRs, values, and brand.
  2. Design and disseminate clear, compelling, and consistent key messages across various channels, including business performance announcements, organizational changes, quarterly town halls, monthly company updates, and leadership blogs.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and effective communication throughout the organization.
  4. Develop and maintain an internal communications strategy and roadmap, coordinating with stakeholders to schedule and prioritize announcements.
  5. Align with our brand narrative and tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all internal communications.
  6. Craft strategies to enhance our employer brand, working with Marketing to develop compelling messaging and content for external channels like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, blogs, and social media.
  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications and provide recommendations for improvement.
  8. Establish metrics to assess the success of internal communication efforts, analyzing data and feedback to refine strategies and tactics.
  9. Support the planning and execution of company-wide events, such as town halls, webinars, and employee recognition programs.
  10. Coordinate live internal events, providing critical support to speakers and stakeholders.
  11. Deliver communications support to the leadership team, including speechwriting and briefing materials.
  12. Stay informed about the latest internal communication trends and best practices, integrating innovative approaches to engage our employees.
  13. Contribute to our Employee Experience and People strategy as part of the People and Office team.
  14. Take an active role in our Empower Group and lead the development of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
