Data Loss Prevention Expert Lead

State Street is seeking a Data Loss Prevention Platforms Technical Support Lead for our Security team, which designs and supports security tools enabling security operations across State Street. The role oversees technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs. Key responsibilities include tuning and upgrading system components, working with stakeholders and vendors to implement new capabilities, and contributing to projects that improve current DLP capabilities. This is a priority role in a growing team, requiring leadership skills, complex technical issue resolution, and deep understanding of DLP technologies.

  • Leading a team of technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms
  • Ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to Service Level Agreements
  • Tuning and upgrading system components following internal testing and change management processes
  • Working with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance risk-driven data protection
  • Contributing to projects that improve current DLP capabilities drive adoption and enable future growth

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in IT support cybersecurity or a related field
  • Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as Network Email Endpoint and Web
  • Exposure to enterprise DLP platforms e.g. Symantec DLP Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP ProofPoint Microsoft Purview
  • Strong skills managing application deployments configurations and updates running on Linux RHEL operating systems with knowledge of Linux Commands files systems permissions and process management
  • Understanding and working knowledge of current data protection information security and cyber security practices and techniques
  • Direct experience managing mentoring and leading teams
  • Creating an environment driving knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security
  • A desire to learn combined with a collaborative working style and strong personal work ethic
