We are seeking an experienced Privacy Leader to join our global privacy team. In this pivotal role, you will lead innovative data-driven strategies while ensuring compliance with European data protection laws.

As a key player in our organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of privacy and data protection in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities include advising on data privacy and related issues across clinical research, commercial marketing, patient support, cybersecurity, and AI.

">

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate privacy risks in new initiatives and projects.

">

Monitoring current and emerging data privacy regulations is also a critical responsibility.

">

Additionally, you will support the implementation of privacy laws across Europe, including operationalizing GDPR requirements.

">

The successful candidate will educate teams on data protection obligations under GDPR and other applicable laws.

">

Serving as the primary contact for data privacy authorities while coordinating with the business and Chief Privacy Officer is also required.

  • A high level of business acumen and ability to influence and drive change are also required.">

Qualifications

  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction is mandatory.">
  • Minimum 7-10 years of legal experience, including a minimum of 4 years in privacy-related roles, is also required.">
  • A background in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related life sciences is preferred.">
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages and experience in US or multinational companies are also beneficial.">
