Job Title

Project Manager to oversee the construction of a new residential development in Waterford from start to completion.


The Role
  • Manage the complete construction process, coordinating and monitoring construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements.
  • Attend regular meetings with Contracts Director and Client to update them on the project's progress.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
  • Report to and support the Contracts Director to ensure smooth project completion.
  • Direct and manage personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, coordinating weekly progress meetings, workshops, and action plans.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Service Coordinators to provide accurate and timely information.
  • Work closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure the quality of works being completed.

Requirements
  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (third-level qualification) is essential.
  • Proven record of managing residential projects from start to completion.
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a senior management role.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programmes and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint, with excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
