MLA is an industry leader in providing educational and cultural holidays to students from around the world. Each year thousands of students travel with us as part of our ESL programmes.
The programme coordinator is a full-time, seasonal position (mid-June until mid-August) which involves working under the direct supervision of the Centre Director.
You will be responsible for all logistics including finances of the centre.
This position will reside on campus and monitor the safety and well-being of international high school students attending our cultural immersion program.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office
  • Attend meetings with group leaders in support of the Centre Director
  • Maintain 24-hour on-call emergency assistance for the centre
  • Address any guest or staff concerns and properly document and report concerns

We are looking for someone who has good interpersonal skills and can thrive in a high-pressure environment. The successful candidate must have a high school degree or equivalent and excellent communication skills (verbal and written). They must also be able to establish excellent relationships with our clients, specifically the Group Leaders.

Requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to work long hours in a high-pressure environment
  • Positive outlook and enthusiasm
  • Excellent organization skills
