Project Director

A highly experienced Project Director is required to successfully oversee the delivery of a Data Centre Fit Out project across Mainland Europe.

The Role
  • Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements to ensure smooth completion.
  • Work closely with clients, direct staff, and sub-contractors to manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee the project programme to guarantee timely completion, effectively liaising with design teams.
  • Report directly to senior management and provide support as needed.
  • Monitor and control project budgets while ensuring effective cost management.
  • Direct and Manage personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, coordinating regular progress meetings and workshops.
  • Ensure quality of work by monitoring construction activities and collaborating with Site Engineers and Service Coordinators.
Requirements
  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within a leading Main Contractor or Fit Out Contractor.
  • A proven track record of managing large-scale projects valued over €10M.
  • Desirable background in commercial fit out/data centre fit out.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple site programmes and associated schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
