We are seeking an experienced Claims Professional to join our property team. As a Claims Professional, you will handle and settle property damage claims directly with policyholders. This role entails conducting site inspections, liaising with stakeholders, and settling claims fairly, transparently, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver effective claims solutions for property customers.
- Manage a portfolio of claims in a geographical location, including site inspections and stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct onsite inspections to evidence damage and cause and take statements as necessary.
- Continuously update claimants and manage the claim from start to finish.
- Provide general claims advice and guidance on large and complex claims.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 6+ years' experience in claims handling, ideally including large loss and/or complex claims management.
- Minimum CIP or Diploma in Competent Insurances qualification is essential.
- A Diploma in Loss Adjusting or relevant degree is highly desirable.
- Strong proven technical claims background with knowledge of relevant claims regulatory and legislative environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with initiative.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to maximize performance delivery of external partners.
